One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began, determined to do
the only thing you could do—
determined to save the only life you could save.
Welcome to my website. You have found it, most likely, in searching for a way to come through some emotional pain you are in the midst of. Probably, you have tried many ways to help yourself and have put off calling a therapist. Now you may be reconsidering and looking through some websites.
Come on in. Let me tell you about myself. As I tell you about myself and my work, a glimmer of hope might emerge. Just maybe you might have a sense that you have found someone who could enter into your situation with you and help you to find a way out.
Contacting a therapist is an act of courage. Take some time to read this page of introduction. If this strikes a chord with you, call me. Then let’s see if we can begin a process to help you through this difficult time by stepping through the gateway to begin a healing journey.
I am an experienced Jungian analytic psychotherapist* and a certified Sandplay Therapist** treating adults, adolescents and children who are experiencing emotional distress. The clients in my practice are often in need of support in moving through painful situations resulting from relationship difficulties, mid-life transitions, grief and loss, family challenges, trauma as well as the myriad of problems our lives encounter. With children I also use play therapy.
My extensive training and my personal therapeutic work enables me to enter into a supportive therapeutic alliance that allows my clients to understand and know themselves more deeply thus allowing them to live more creatively and fully. The enlargement of their interior lives in therapy leads to more emotionally sustained and meaningful lives.
My specialties include anxiety, depression, and traumas with adults, adolescents and children. I use a depth psychology approach to therapy by listening and responding deeply and forming a therapeutic bond to facilitate healing. I am a certified Sandplay Therapist, Master Teacher,t using that nonverbal modality with children, adolescents and adults.
